About Friends of Glenfrome

Who we are

Friends of Glenfrome (FOG) is the friendly parent and teacher community supporting Glenfrome Primary School. Like a modern PTA, we bring parents, carers and staff together to organise fun events, raise funds, and create extra opportunities and lasting memories for our children.

When your child joins the school, you’re automatically part of the FOG community, but it’s totally up to you how involved you are! Whether you help run an event, share ideas, or simply come along and enjoy the activities, every bit of involvement helps make a difference.

All the money we raise goes straight back into the school to enrich the children’s experiences and make school life even more memorable.

Friends of Glenfrome is a registered charity (No. 1035338).

What We Do

Friends of Glenfrome (FOG) organises fun events throughout the year that bring our school community together while raising money to support the children at Glenfrome Primary School. From the much-loved Summer Fair and Christmas Market to Easter bake sales, school discos, and cosy Hot Chocolate Fridays, our events are all about fun, community, and creating special moments for families.

The money raised goes straight back into the school to enrich the children’s experiences. This includes helping subsidise school trips for every child, funding new play equipment, supporting the school’s Play Pod membership, buying Easter eggs for the children, and raising funds for new AV equipment for the school.

As well as raising valuable funds, our events help bring together our fantastic community of pupils, parents, carers and staff. They’re a great way for families to connect, make friends, and be part of the vibrant life of Glenfrome.
