🎉 FOG Funding Update!🎉
I’m so excited to share that, thanks to all the incredible support this year, FOG has allocated £11,000 of funding, raised this 25-26 year, towards projects across Glenfrome ❤️
After a meeting with Mrs O’Callaghan, and discussion with the FOG trustees to check everything fit with the FOG aims & ethos (and financially), here’s what we’ve agreed so far:
🚌 £2,900 to subsidise school trips (every child, every class)
🎤 £1,300 for AV upgrades in the school hall
🛠️ £1,215 to renew Scrapstore PlayPod subscription for another year
⚽ £1,100 for Year 2/3 play/sports equipment (balls, training hoops, skipping ropes, stilts, football net etc.)
🎨 Funding for a brand-new mural in the school hall
🏟️ The remaining funds will go towards helping complete the new MUGA (a.k.a.” the cage”) , alongside the fantastic funding already secured by the school.
We’ve also started discussing ideas for future projects for FOG to support, including permanent shade, redeveloping the wildlife pond, y4-6 playground markings, a climbing wall and more, plus discussing ways we can get the children inputting their ideas too 🌳🧗
And that’s not all! There are still more fundraising activities taking place this school year, with more income still to come in, so i’m hopeful the final amount raised this year will be even higher 🙌
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has volunteered, donated, attended events, bought raffle tickets, eaten cake, supported and been a part of FOG this year. Every penny raised is making such a difference to our school and children. What an incredible result & incredible school community 💙
